If you can afford to do so, please consider donating to help Lake County families in need during this time.” Lake County Build a Generation is currently directing 100% of all donations towards community relief efforts. In partnership with Full Circle and the Lake County Disaster Relief Fund, we are each focusing on an area of financial relief, and funds are being distributed collaboratively. Lake County Build a Generation is currently focused on providing housing assistance, and will adjust focus as needed. Housing assistance is currently our community’s greatest unmet need, according to local data–followed by utilities, food and other human services needs.  Tax-deductible donations can be made through our website at http://lcbag.org/donate/ or by sending a check to PO Box 1302, Leadville, CO 80461.

WHAT WE DO

We specialize in planning, community engagement and evaluation to impact population-level health outcomes in three sectors: youth health, adult health and health equity.

FOCUS AREAS

YOUTH HEALTH INITIATIVES

Our youth health initiatives are driven by the Lake County Youth Master Plan, a framework to support the community’s youth from cradle to career.

ADULT HEALTH INITIATIVES

Healthy adults build the foundation for a healthy community. From supporting tobacco cessation to developing a Senior Master Plan, we strive to make Lake County a healthy place to live, work and play for all residents.

HEALTH EQUITY

Our health equity advocacy work strives to ensure that the members of our community who are most affected by health disparities have their voices heard in local and statewide health conversations.
