Forms of oppression: Nationalism / Formas de opresión: Nacionalismo
LCBAG is building a movement for health and wellbeing. We focus on disrupting systemic oppressions that cause harm in our community. Some of the oppressions that most deeply impact Lake County include nationalism, racism, and language oppression.. In a way to move forward as an organization and thus be able to serve our Lake County community in the most equitable and anti-oppressive way possible, LCBAG has been holding educational sessions led by an external consultant (Transformative Alliances LLC). With all members from our valuable team, we are learning to create a culture of change and with this information we can begin to understand each form of oppression,how to counteract it, and make our community a better place free of oppression for everyone.

LCBAG en una forma de avanzar como organización y así poder servir a nuestra comunidad del condado de Lake de la manera más equitativa y anti opresiva posible, ha venido realizando jornadas educativas de la mano de un consultor externo (Transformative Alliances LLC) Con todos los miembros de nuestro valioso equipo, para crear una cultura de cambio, donde a través de la información apropiada podamos entender cada forma de opresión y cómo contrarrestar; para así continuar haciendo de nuestra comunidad para todos, todas y todes un lugar mejor y libre de opresión.
Con esta nueva serie de artículos, pretendemos sintetizar en la medida en la que nos sea posible, teniendo en cuenta la complejidad y sensibilidad de los temas, los tipos de opresión en los Estados Unidos. Para así, compartir este valioso recurso educativo con nuestra comunidad.
