At Lake County Build a Generation, we believe health is more than health care. From access to a quality education and healthy food to safe transportation and affordable housing–the environments in which we live, work, learn, and play have a measurable impact on our health.
We also believe that a healthy community is best created by the community’s own residents, working together. By engaging diverse groups of residents and organizations in the work of community change, we will ensure that a healthy life is accessible to all, regardless of who they are or how much money they make.
