Staff Retreat 2024
Led by our new director, Carley Sayler, and the directors of development and community impact, our team held a retreat to discuss work and to understand and improve the work strategies in our organization. For two days our team focused on envisioning a better future for our community. We discussed and learned that radical imagination can create a considerable impact and that the power of storytelling can change societies. Our team connected through ideas and creativity, and education and visualization, to become more empowered in the role we play in our Lake County community
En cabeza de nuestra nueva directora Carley Sayler y de las directoras de desarrollo y de impacto comunitario; nuestro equipo de Lake County Build and Generation realizó un retreat para discutir, trabajar, entender y mejorar las estrategia de trabajo en nuestra organización. Durante dos días nuestro equipo se concentró en visualizar un futuro mejor para nuestra comunidad. Discutimos y aprendimos que la imaginación radical puede crear impactos considerables y que el poder de contar historias puede cambiar sociedades. Nuestro equipo se conectó a través de ideas y creatividad, educación y visualización para así, estar más capacitado en el rol que jugamos en nuestra comunidad del condado de Lake.
Being surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Leadville, our team thought about the connection with nature, therefore we want to make special mention of the local artist Makari, who was inspired by our employees to create a work that has a little bit of personality from every one of our valuable staff at LCBAG.

During our first day of conversation, training, and learning The Timberline hotel provided us with its beautiful facilities, so we are incredibly grateful for the preferential treatment we received.
