HEALTH EQUITY
In partnership with Full Circle of Lake County, Lake County Build a Generation works to facilitate health equity change in Lake County. We work to engage local agencies as partners in the health equity advocacy field, because we believe that working together on issues of shared interest (including our mutual desire to be more equitable) is the best way to create long-term changes in how our community supports and responds to health disparities.

Specifically, Full Circle and Lake County Build a Generation:

  • Work with affected populations to build engagement and leadership through programs like the Family Leadership Training Institute.
  • Work to provide opportunities for Lake County agencies to increase their health equity capacity through on-going training and coaching opportunities.
  • Work with local health care providers on their goals of increasing access to care by addressing specific barriers for underserved community members.
  • Work to promote community leadership through helping coordinate initiatives such as Lideres Latinoamericanos Leadville.
